Arrests at the Warsaw Flea Market

Sgt. Thomas J. Molnar reported that shortly after 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 30, 2013, special agents with the Virginia State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation Richmond Field Office and troopers executed a search warrant at the Warsaw Flea Market located at 15683 History Land Highway in Warsaw. This enforcement effort is the result of an active and on-going investigation into property crimes involving the selling of counterfeit and pirated goods at the Warsaw Flea Market. Seven people have been arrested on 52 felony charges involving these intellectual property crimes. The 52 felony charges include three warrants for recorded devices to show true name of manufacturer. Seven warrants for obtaining money by false pretenses, 14 warrants for infringement and 28 warrants for selling or renting certain recorded devises.  Flea MarketThe investigation remains on-going.
