ESPN’s ‘College GameDay’ returns to James Madison University

HARRISONBURG, Va. (AP) — ESPN’s “College GameDay” is returning to James Madison University in Virginia for the second time since 2015. News outlets report the Saturday morning football show will broadcast from Harrisonburg this week before the Dukes play Villanova. The Dukes have won 17 consecutive games. Villanova is ranked No. 12. SpaceX launches 10 more Iridium Communications satellites

VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. (AP) — Ten new satellites for Iridium Communications Inc. have been carried into orbit by a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched from California. The booster lifted off from coastal Vandenberg Air Force Base before dawn Monday. Its first stage successfully returned from space and set down on a landing platform floating in the Pacific Ocean as the second stage went on to deploy the satellites in orbit. State to spend $14M on electric car charging stations

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — Virginia is looking for a developer to build a statewide charging network for electric vehicles. The state announced last week that it had issued a request for proposals for putting in the infrastructure. Gov. Terry McAuliffe’s office said in a news release that $14 million in funding for the effort would come from Virginia’s portion of the Volkswagen settlement over the company’s diesel emissions cheating scandal. Police issue warrant for black man beaten at Virginia rally

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) — Police in Charlottesville, Virginia, have issued a warrant charging a black man beaten at a white nationalist rally for an alleged assault during the confrontation. Police said in a news release Monday night that the warrant was issued for 20-year-old DeAndre Harris. Harris was seen bloodied in viral photos and a video after being attacked during the rally in August. Lt.
