Authorities: Man sexually assaulted woman after car wreck STAFFORD, Va. (AP) — Authorities in Virginia are searching for a man who they say dragged a young woman out of her car after their vehicles collided and sexually assaulted her. Stafford County Sheriff’s Office public information officer M.C. Morris Moncure says the collision happened early Monday while both vehicles were traveling eastbound on Kings Highway. Morris Moncure says the department won’t speculate as to whether the crash was an accident or intentional act. Police investigating remains found outside grave at cemetery SUFFOLK, Va. (AP) — Police are investigating after they say skeletal remains were found outside of a grave at a Suffolk cemetery. Local news organizations report that authorities say they received a call Tuesday afternoon about the unsecured remains discovered at the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. Authorities say the remains are believed to possibly be human and were not associated with a vault there. Graves in the cemetery date back as far as a century or more in some areas. McAuliffe announces new website to fight opioid abuse RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — Virginia state government has a new website designed to help battle opioid and heroin addiction. Gov. Terry McAuliffe announced Tuesday the creation of , which he said was an informational tool for the public, health care practitioners and law enforcement officials. Opioid deaths in Virginia have risen dramatically in recent years. In 2015, there were 801 deaths, a nearly 50 percent increase since 2012. ~ The award-winning program reaches Governor’s goal over 400 days early ~   RICHMOND – Governor Terry McAuliffe today announced that Virginia Values Veterans (V3) Program-certified employers have hired 20,000 veterans across Virginia since 2012.
