Heathsville Farmers Market

The next Heathsville Farmers Market on Saturday, September 16th will have a historical theme. Local history groups will set up a “Living History” encampment on the Tavern Green, and a historical flag display will be erected.  Watch a colonial cook demonstration over an outdoor fire. Meet the 18th Century Schoolmaster for an engaging half-hour lesson followed by “recess”! Located on the grounds adjacent to Rice’s Hotel / Hughlett’s Tavern in Heathsville, the Farmers Market offers Northern Neck produce, fresh baked goods, meat, gourmet peanuts, handmade soap, jewelry, and other interesting handcrafts. Over 50 vendors are expected to participate. The Heathsville Farmers Market runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. There are new vendors at every market.
