Lancaster County Crime Solvers is requesting the public’s assistance on information on a break in that took place at the Post Office in Mollusk during the night hours of August 12th. When the postmaster reported to work on August 13th she found that the air conditioner had been removed and entry was made. Also on August 18th the owner of a residence on West Point Road, Merry Point returned home in the afternoon to find his home had been broken into and his collection of guns had been stolen. This home was broke into sometime between 10:30am and 6:30pm. Taken from the home was a 36 caliber black powder gun, 12 gauge shotgun, 50 caliber muzzle loader, tripod, scope, magazine, and a 22 caliber pellet gun. If you have any information on the stolen guns, or the break and entry to the resident in Merry Point or the post office in Mollusk you are asked to call Lancaster County Crime Solvers at 462-7463.
