Montross, VA – Peoples Community Bank is pleased to announce the election of The Honorable Margaret Bevans Ransone to its Board of Directors at its November 17th meeting.

She is an accomplished small business leader within the Oyster industry, and demonstrates a record of understanding and representing the needs of her constituents in the 99th District since her election to the General Assembly. Ransone, a lifelong resident of the Northern Neck, has nearly twenty years of experience in executive management positions in small businesses. She is an accomplished legislator representing the 99th district in the Virginia House of Delegates and is well known throughout Virginia for her commitment to hard working families, support of small businesses, and government reform. She is a strong supporter of area YMCAs, littles leagues, and community organizations while working locally and in Richmond to promote economic growth opportunities for the region.

Ransone currently lives in Kinsale with her husband, Todd, and their two children, Morgan and Bevan. She is a graduate of Randolph Macon College with a BA in Psychology and minor in Religion.
