A small plane went down Saturday morning around 9 o’clock after taking off from Hummel Field at Topping in Middlesex County.

Sources say the pilot and two passengers suffered only minor injuries and were transported to an area hospital.

The crash occurred when the plane was taking off and the wings clipped some trees at the end of the runway and then crashed into a home on Eubank Landing Road which is adjacent to Hummel Field in Topping.

State Police and local authorities are investigating.
