For many years the U.S. Air Force Heritage of America Concert Band has entertained

 

Northern Neck audiences and this year will be no exception.

 

The Irvington Village Improvement Association has scheduled the public concert on

 

Sunday afternoon, May 28th at 2p.m. on the Irvington Commons, 98 King Carter Drive,

 

Irvington.

 

Guest are asked to bring your chairs, blankets, a festive patriotic theme and a picnic while

 

you settle in with family and friends to enjoy this musical celebration of Memorial Day.

 

The Heritage of America Concert Band, is the largest of the U.S. Air Forces’s six

 

ensembles, is known for its renditions of orchestral classics, marches, Broadway hits, jazz

 

standards, movie music and patriotic favorites.

Chesapeake Bank, a concert sponsor, will offer free hot dogs from noon to 2 p.m.
