As Westmoreland County’s supervisors ponder what kind of zoning

 

regulations to pass regarding gas and oil drilling in the waterside

 

community, a Colonial Beach resident has organized an informational

 

session.

 

Bobby Baldwin has put together a meeting to help residents learn about the

 

process of hydralic fracturing, or fracking tonight (Thursday, March 9th)

 

from 7 to 8pm at the Westmoreland Fire Department, 52 Rectory Road,

 

Montross.

 

Representatives from the Southern Environmental Law Center and Friends

 

of the Rappahannock will make presentations.

 

The Westmoreland Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on the

 

issue on Wednesday, March 15th at 6pm in the George D. English Building
in Montross.
