For the first time in its 36-year history, the Virginia Commonwealth Games will be held in the Richmond region.
Up to 10,000 athletes of all ages and abilities will compete at venues in Chesterfield and Henrico counties beginning in 2026. Virginia Amateur Sports, the governing body of the Games, announced the three-year host community agreement at a news conference Thursday.
