Three Virginia men on Friday were charged in a scheme to rob U.S. Postal Service mail carriers at gunpoint and steal arrow keys used to access USPS collection mailboxes in order to obtain checks, credit cards and sensitive financial information.
The charges come as the USPS grapples with a surge in theft and crimes committed against mail carriers.
