Virginia State Police said troopers on Monday morning arrested nine pro-Palestine protesters who had stopped traffic on Interstate 95 in Richmond by wrapping themselves in chicken wire and lying in the southbound lanes of the highway.
The protests caused delays of up to 4 miles until nearly 11 a.m., according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
