Dominion Energy‘s workhouse North Anna nuclear power station won U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission approval to operate for another 20 years, a key milestone in the utility’s $3.9 billion push to keep its two nuclear power stations running past the mid-century.

The renewal means the station’s two nuclear reactors can keep operating through 2058 and 2060.
