The ongoing bird flu outbreak has continued to affect multiple industries, including farms and restaurants.
Recently, the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources said it has received increasing reports of sick or dead wild birds.
The birds were primarily located on the Eastern Shore, but some isolated cases were reported in the eastern half of mainland Virginia. Many of the bird deaths have been attributed to the H5N1 bird flu.
