Local health system Bon Secours and insurer Cigna Healthcare have not agreed to a new contract, and the clock is ticking.

If they cannot strike a deal by March 31, most Bon Secours facilities in the state will leave Cigna‘s network, affecting up to 30,000 customers statewide with employee-sponsored plans. If a hospital is out of network, the patient typically faces a higher cost.
