Chesterfield County Fire and EMS dive crews found a body in the Appomattox River at 10:16 a.m. Wednesday, following a search for a man who fell in while fishing on Tuesday night.
The recovery team called Chesterfield County Police to the 21000 block of Chesterfield Avenue at 11:44 a.m. once it brought the man to shore. First responders transported the body to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
