Virginia State Police is investigating a hit-and-run incident that occurred on the Norris Bridge in Lancaster County at approximately 6 p.m. on Friday (Aug.1, 2025).
Police are asking for assistance in locating the silver/gray pickup truck pulling a large white camper. It was heading westbound on Route 3 going from Middlesex County to Lancaster County when it crossed the centerline and struck a van going in the opposite direction, causing the van to strike another vehicle.
The drivers of van and the third vehicle were transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries while the pickup truck/camper continued on Route 3.
The pickup truck/camper continued through the White Stone stoplight at approximately 6:11 p.m. and then went in an unknown direction.
