After highlighting a Richmond Raceway event that will see drivers averaging more than 100 miles an hour, Gov. Glenn Youngkin said he’ll be moving fast himself on his new push to step up state oversight of nursing homes.

This week marks the start of events at the 79-year-old Henrico County racetrack that culminates with the Cook Out 400 Cup Series race, the one remaining Richmond event in NASCAR’s top series after the track’s spring event moved to Mexico City.
