Nearly 200 nursing homes across Virginia are suing Gov. Glenn Youngkin over what they call his “unconstitutional veto” of additional Medicaid funding to help them hire nurses and aides to care for their residents.
The Virginia Health Care Association-Virginia Coalition for Assisted Living notified the director of the state Medicaid office on Tuesday that 181 of its members plan to appeal directly to the Virginia Supreme Court this week.
