Award-winning Richmond artist Caroline Murphy brings her expressive landscapes and floral paintings to TAG September 26 – October 18, 2025. TAG invites the public to attend the opening reception on Friday, September 26 from 5-7pm.
Caroline Q. Murphy is an award-winning painter renowned for her instinctual use of color. She captures the essence of an expressive street scene, drippy, opulent florals, and sun kissed landscapes. Her artwork captures introspective and fleeting moments, often stretching into abstraction. Primarily working with acrylics and gouache, she plays with light, saturation, and unique hues to create her vibrant compositions.
Tappahannock Artists’ Guild is one of the stops for Downtown Tappahannock’s monthly DATE NIGHT, where local businesses invite the public to come together and enjoy Tappahannock’s small town charms on the fourth Friday of each month.
