Richmond County’s Household Hazardous & Electronic Waste (HHW) Fall collection will take place at the RCC parking lot on Saturday, October 18th from 9am-2pm, rain or shine. The collection is limited to Richmond County residents and property owners only. Richmond County residents and property owners are asked to bring old household chemicals such as oil-based paint, cleaners, solvents, old or used petroleum products (including mower and boat gas), pool chemicals, pesticides and spent florescent and CFL bulbs, and electronics to the event.
The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office will be present at this event to incorporate their “Prescription Drug Take Back” program.
Onsite document shredding will also be available.
