On October 23, Rappahannock Electric Cooperative (REC) will present a $5,000 grant to Central Rappahannock River Habitat for Humanity. This funding supports a collaborative project with Caroline County High School students to construct a home for a veteran and his family. The check presentation will occur at 9:15 a.m. at 17518 AP Hill Blvd, Bowling Green, VA. REC’s Power of Change program, funded by over 36,000 members, has awarded $118,378.08 to 38 organizations across 22 counties this year.
