FREDERICKSBURG – Next week, Route 360 over the Rappahannock River between Richmond County and the Town of Tappahannock will be reduced to a single lane overnight for bridge maintenance on Monday-Thursday evenings.
Work will start the evening of Monday, Dec. 8, and will continue nightly through the evening of Thursday, Dec. 11, weather permitting. No overnight work is scheduled for Friday and Saturday evenings. Route 360 will be reduced to a single lane from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. on evenings when work is underway.
Crews will be repairing bridge deck joints.
Automated flagging devices will direct traffic through the work zone. Flagging crew members operate the devices, which can be adjusted to respond to congestion or incidents on the bridge.
