RICHMOND, Va. — On Friday, January 16, 2026, Governor-elect Abigail Spanberger will kick off the inaugural weekend by welcoming Virginians to the Made in Virginia Market in Richmond’s Shockoe Bottom.

At the market, Governor-elect Spanberger will celebrate the Virginia artisans, small businesses, and food vendors featured at the market and speak to the theme of the inauguration, “United for Virginia’s Future.” The Governor-elect will make clear her commitment to bringing Virginians together to build a stronger future for the Commonwealth.

The public, free-to-attend Made in Virginia Market will feature a wide array of accessories and apparel, wellness products, toys, games, art, paper goods, and foods.
