A bid to provide free breakfasts to any public school student who asks stumbled again in the General Assembly’s budget-writing committees.
Those committees voted to continue Senate Bill 4 and House Bill 96, which means they won’t come up this year, unless the same committees decide to accept proposed budget amendments to pay for the program.
