TAG is delighted to host “River Rendezvous,” an art exhibit featuring the work of Amie Oliver, a Richmond-based artist whose work is held in private collections throughout the world.
“River Rendezvous” begins and ends with water from the Tappahannock, the James, the Potomac, and other coastal terrains – mixed with permanent ink, acrylic paint, liquid graphite and occasional sand, crystals and regional remains. Her paintings and work on paper explore shifting coastlines and transitions between regions, climates and seasons. Each painting or drawing explores the essence of its origin and its endless journey.
