Virginia’s minimum wage will rise to $13.75 an hour next year and $15 in 2028 under legislation Gov. Abigail Spanberger signed into law on Thursday.
Raising the minimum wage from the current $12.77 was a key element in the affordability agenda she campaigned on last year.
