Gov. Abigail Spanberger vetoed legislation aimed at capping high-priced prescription drugs at the prices Medicare pays, saying similar approaches have failed in other states.
She also vetoed legislation that would have required businesses to make special accommodations for menopausal and perimenopausal women, as well as bills that would have allowed a defense against felony charges for people in mental health crises or those with autism or intellectual disabilities if they came into physical contact with a law enforcement officer.
