The calendar has flipped to August, which means back-to-school shopping season is in full swing across the Richmond area.
Virginia’s annual sales tax holiday arrives just as families prepare for the start of the new school year. The three-day tax-free weekend runs Friday through Sunday, giving shoppers a chance to save on eligible school supplies, clothing, footwear and certain emergency preparedness items.
