Christchurch School will host the Jason Soucek Memorial Soccer Game on September 4 and 5 in memory and honor of CCS graduate and Middlesex County resident Jason “Juice” Soucek ’92. Jason is the son of Archie ’61 and Claudia Soucek of Middlesex. Soucek died in 1996 while a student at Roanoke College. At Christchurch, Jason was a standout in soccer, basketball, and lacrosse, earning Best All-Around Athlete honors in 1992.
The action starts on Friday, September 4 at 4:00 p.m. with St. Mary’s Ryken (Leonardtown, MD) vs. St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes School (Alexandria, VA). The loser of that game will play Christchurch on Saturday, September 5 at 11:00 a.m. The winner will play Christchurch at 3:00 p.m.
Head Coach David Burrell leads the team. Come on out to watch soccer action on beautiful Nunn Field, overlooking the Rappahannock River. The games are free and open to the public.
