Part of Interstate 95 was closed Wednesday after a tractor-trailer crash caused a HAZMAT situation along the roadway.
At around 2:45 p.m., Henrico police responded to the interstate near the 85-mile marker, which is near the interchange with I-295.
The tractor-trailer was the only vehicle involved in the crash, with a loaded tanker at the time of the incident. When the tractor-trailer crashed, the truck’s fuel tank and cargo trailer were ruptured.
