A Chesterfield County Police investigator has been arrested and charged after she allegedly abused the department’s Flock camera system and misused a statewide law enforcement database, a police spokesperson announced in a Friday morning news release.

The investigator, who police identified as Rebekkah Robinson, has been charged with two counts of computer invasion of privacy and two counts of violating Virginia’s automatic license plate reader statute.

Robinson, who police said is an unsworn “professional staff intelligence investigator,” has been placed on unpaid leave pending the outcome of an internal affairs investigation.
