2004 Recipient of the National Association of Broadcasters “FRIEND IN NEED” AWARD
These awards are given annually to one television and one radio station across the U.S. to honor broadcasters for outstanding service in the face of natural disasters and other potentially life-threatening situations. The 2004 radio station award goes to WRAR in Tappahannock, VA for their coverage of Hurricane Isabel. The presenter was Deborah Norville, anchor of Inside Edition.
