Absentee Ballot Deadline Approaches

Virginia Voters wishing to cast an absentee ballot in the Dual Primary Elections face a deadline this week.

Early in-person voting continues through June 15^th for the upcoming June 18^th Dual Primary Elections.  Statewide, a Republican Party Primary will be held to nominate a candidate for U.S. Senate in the November 5^th election.  The winner will face Democratic incumbent Tim Kaine.  In the First District, a Democratic Party Primary will be held to nominate a candidate for U.S. House of Representatives in the November 5^th election.  The winner will face Republican incumbent representative Rob Wittman.  This Friday June 7^th is the deadline to request an absentee ballot to mailed to a registered voter.  Ballots returned by mail must be postmarked by June 18^th .
