Atop executive at a fund meant to help the families of developmentally disabled children received a nine-year prison sentence – one year more than prosecutors were seeking – on Wednesday afternoon.
John Hunter Raines, 39, was the chief financial officer for the Virginia Birth-Related Neurological Injury Compensation Program, a fund dedicated to support developmentally disabled children.
