Search and rescue crews recovered a male body from the York River on Tuesday, not far from where a Richmond man went missing at Gloucester Point on Sunday evening.
The Gloucester County Sheriff’s Office said the body was found by Camp Peary police, floating face-down about half a mile from where Steven Kendall Wright, of Richmond, went missing roughly 42 hours earlier.
The sheriff’s office said the body will be taken to the medical examiner in Norfolk for positive identification.
