Virginia Department of Corrections Director Chadwick Dotson announced that he would leave his position in anticipation of a new gubernatorial administration.
Dotson announced his departure on social media, stating that he’d be leaving when the administration ends on Friday, the day before Gov.-elect Abigail Spanberger’s inauguration. In an email, Dotson said he did not resign.
