CHRISTCHURCH, VA — This Friday and Saturday, the Seahorses will host the Jason Soucek Memorial Soccer Game in memory and honor of CCS graduate and Middlesex County resident Jason “Juice” Soucek ’92. Jason is the son of Archie ’61 and Claudia Soucek of Saluda. Soucek died in 1996 while a student at Roanoke College. At Christchurch, Jason was a standout in soccer, basketball, and lacrosse, earning Best All-Around Athlete honors in 1992.

The Seahorses will play The Steward School of Richmond at 3:00 pm at Nunn Field, on the school’s lower campus. St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes (Alexandria) will play Mercersburg Academy (Mercersburg, PA) at 5:00 pm.

Teams will play in a consolation game on Saturday at 11:00 am, and the championship game will take place at 1:00 pm.

Captains for the 2025 season are seniors Finley Caisse of Hartfield and Manu Vieytez Arguello of El Salvador.

Head Coach David Burrell leads the team. Aaron Alter and Evan Pausic ’17 assist. Come on out to watch some great soccer action on beautiful Nunn Field, overlooking the Rappahannock River. The games are free and open to the public.
