Christchurch School is pleased to announce that it has joined the Virginia State High School Clay Target League with the school’s first trap shooting team.
The team met every Sunday throughout the fall at the Dunbrooke Hunt and Gun Club in Tappahannock to sharpen skills and compete. In this first season, Christopher Rhoads ’26 (son of Meade ’84 and Janie Rhoads of Aylett) won the league championship, for both boys and overall, in a field of 42 competitors.
Admission Director Billy Burlee is the team’s advisor. The team will also compete in the spring.
