FREDERICKSBURG – The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will close Route 614 (Etna Mills Road) at Hornquarter Creek in King William County on Wednesday, Nov. 5, for a barrier and guardrail installation project.
Etna Mills Road will be closed for approximately four weeks, weather permitting. Due to the presence of several drainage pipes in the area where the guardrail is to be installed, crews will first install a concrete barrier to securely anchor the guardrail in place.
Signs will be posted to guide motorists along the recommended detour route, which is 16 miles for motorists traveling the full distance.
