The Bay School and the Mathews Memorial Library will co-host a Family Craft and Movie Night featuring Peter Rabbit on Friday, March 1st. Children can take the bus from school (with a note) or be dropped off at the library at 3:00. They will read Peter Rabbit and another book about rabbits, learn about rabbits, and do two rabbit crafts. A snack will be provided. At 4:30 the kids will walk to the Bay School to paint Peter Rabbit on a canvas. At 5:30 they will be served pizza with sides of rabbit-friendly veggies. If your child can’t eat pizza, please bring them something they can have for dinner. Parents are invited to meet in the gallery for eats, drinks, and to paint their own rabbit (optional). The movie will be shown in the classroom when the kids finish dinner. This event is fun for the whole family, with food, drink, and fresh popcorn. This event is free for Bay School members and kids and $5 for adult non-members. Popcorn, soft drinks, and pizza for the kids are included; adult pizza will have an additional charge. There will be a carpet on the floor for the movie, and parents are encouraged to bring pillows and/or blankets for their kids to get cozy in the classroom. Children under the age of six must be accompanied by an adult. Please reserve your FREE or PAID tickets with The Bay School in advance.
