Lancaster County’s Household Hazardous & Electronic Waste Fall collection will take place at the Lancaster County Courthouse parking lot on Sat., Sept. 12th from 8am to Noon. The collection is limited to Lancaster County residents and property owners only. Anyone with questions about the collection should call Northern Neck Soil & Water Conservation District at 804-313-9102 x 105.
Lancaster County residents and property owners are asked to bring old household chemicals such as oil-based paint, cleaners, solvents, old or used petroleum products (including mower and boat gas), pool chemicals, pesticides and spent florescent and CFL bulbs, and electronics to the event. Residents should NOT bring ammunition, radioactive materials, tires, medical waste or prescription drugs.
