Medicare Basics

The Upper King William Branch Library presents “Medicare Basics”, sponsored by Optima Health on Monday, November 6th for anyone ages 18 and up. The program will start at 10:30am with a 30min presentation of Medicare Basics and Updates. From 11am – 1pm you can drop by any time to get any questions answered by a Medicare expert.

This event will help the participants: 1. Understand the Parts of Medicare and how they work. 2. Explore their Medicare options. 3. Differentiate Original Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and Medicare Supplement Insurance. 4. How to get the most out of Medicare? 5. Understand how Medicare Prescription Drug (Part D) works. 6. Familiarize with Medicare Election Periods 7. What’s new for Medicare next year.
