National POW/MIA Recognition Day is September 15th. A public ceremony will be held at the Essex County Courthouse green near the Essex County War Monument at 10am. There will be a laying of wreathes. Micheal Rawlings will be speaking about his experiences as a professional genealogist for the National Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency.
Please join in remembering and honoring the brave men and women who are listed as prisoners of war and missing in action; those who have returned and those who have remained unaccounted for.
