National POW/MIA Recognition Day is Friday, September 20th. A public ceremony will be held at the Essex County Courthouse green near the Essex County War Monument at 10am. There will be a laying of wreaths. Aaron Ahlstrom, the archival specialist with the National League of Families of American Prisoners and Missing in Southeast Asia will be the speaker.

Please join in remembering and honoring the brave men and women who are prisoners of war, those still missing in action, and those who have returned.
