Our community depends on trained volunteers when disaster strikes. CERT is made up of everyday people who step forward to help during storms, fires, missing‑person searches, shelter operations, and moments when families need support the most.

On September 19th, CERT in partnership with American Legion Post 86 will host a Ride for CERT Motorcycle Poker Run. It starts at the Kilmarnock Town Park, with check‑in at 8:30 AM and UP STAND / Kick Down at 9:30 AM. Riders will travel a beautiful 100‑mile route through the Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula.  $20 per ride and $5 per passenger.   1st Prize $500 (divided if we have more than one winner).  The first 50 to sign up receive a Preparedness Kit.

The funds raised help us provide comfort kits, blankets, preparedness training, and the equipment the CERT team relies on during emergencies. Every dollar directly supports the safety and resilience of our community.
