FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Route 360 travelers will encounter brief overnight delays at the Downing Bridge over the Rappahannock River in the Tappahannock area on the evenings of Sunday, June 23, and Monday, June 24, for scheduled road resurfacing.
Crews are milling the Route 360 travel lanes immediately north of the bridge, in Richmond County. Due to the work zone’s proximity to the bridge, traffic on the Downing Bridge will be reduced to a single lane between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. on Sunday and Monday evenings.
A flagging crew and pilot car will direct one-way, alternating traffic across the bridge and through the work zone in Richmond County.
Work has been scheduled to occur weather permitting. Motorists can find updated information on lane closures for this work zone and other work zones across Virginia on 511Virginia, as well as information on traffic and other incidents.
