Right now, it’s more difficult than usual to obtain the newest vaccines against COVID-19. Virginia residents need a prescription in order to receive the latest version of the shot.
It’s possible the process will become easier later this month after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention meets. But for now, Virginia residents are facing an extra hurdle to protect themselves as cold-and-flu season nears.
