Gov. Glenn Youngkin, Lt. Gov. Winsome Earle-Sears and Attorney General Jason Miyares announced Wednesday that they support state Sen. Mark Peake, R-Lynchburg as the next chairman of the state Republican Party.
Peake announced his candidacy Wednesday, a day after President Donald Trump nominated current GOP Chairman Rich Anderson to become assistant secretary of the U.S. Air Force.
