Former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, trying to keep her bid for the GOP presidential nomination alive, campaigned in Henrico County on Thursday, saying she remains the party’s best chance to beat President Joe Biden in November.
“Don’t complain about what happens in the general election if you don’t vote in this primary,” Haley told a crowd of hundreds at The Westin Richmond.
Youngkin did not attend the Haley rally and will not take part in Trump’s appearance at the Greater Richmond Convention Center on Saturday. He has said Virginians should make their choice about the party’s nominee and that he will not endorse a candidate before Super Tuesday.
